super small review - will post the right one once I have time to write it.
After hearing so much about this guy, I was expecting something superb. It was a fun night but music wise it was okay. I do have to agree with the last posting, the music improved dramatically after 8:00am.
In another note, great transformation from this DJ, it was like there were 3 different Djs during the night. |

really liked it....played a lot of sick old records at beggining.Really liked the way the set started ...dropped some crazy underground/tech beats that drove me nuts....but too much ups and downs.....killled it a bit.Overall, great party, great vibe and very good underground music! UK BABYY!
PS : Respect he had his vynal records....made a big difference in his mixing(perfect)...specially when you hear that at ((Stereo)) |

Finally back home..
Another successful Howells mission in Montreal. I had an absolute blast. I think everyone who saw me knew that hahaha. It was nice seeing Selma and Julius again as well as meeting some new people. Howells proved to me once again why he is my top dj. Excellent mixing all night and excellent track selection and flow covering a wide variety of genres as usual :) From 7-9ish he was playing Lee Burridge style dark tech-house that was simply unreal. The vibe was perfect all night and it never got overly crowded. I will be back again for next time. I love stereo!

Glad you guys had fun, Howells is one of the only Dj's left worth paying to go see.
GU i have seen the beltram remix elsewhere as well, i'll pm you a preview a bit later on, you can tell me if that is the one.Matt Samuels also did a track very similar that sounds like it, although the namne escapes me. |

He played this most of 2006 in his sets and then I remember reading on his board that he wondered why he had stopped playing it. Im glad I got to hear it's return to active duty...sounded so dope on stereo's system :)

First time hearing Howells here.
Many people had told me how good it was at Stereo last time...expectations were high.
I must admit, I left stereo a little bit unsatisfied. The night started extremely slowly...very deep...everybody kept telling me: ''ya but wait when this guys starts rocking, he becomes MAD and drops bombs after bombs non-stop!!''
alright fair enough...
6AM..beat still up and down...Howells is teasing the out of us
By 8AM music definitaly improved. Some sick sick tech tracks at some point...But still I was expecting greater things overall.
This guys definitaly has a unique ''progressive House'' style. Very original I must say. I would definitaly give him another try, maybe next time he won't be as drunk in the DJ booth (those who went upstairs and checked him out at the end of the night will understand...Danny was loaded like there was no tomorrow lol).
Also got a demo from My Favorite Robot there at Stereo. Didn't know these guys. I really like the style. Been listening since Friday, some excellent tracks. |

i dunno...i've known him since 2001 and he's always acting like he's drunk but isn't cause he's naturally drunkq! |
