Howells started out a little too slow for my likes, sounded like lounge music, enjoyed Digweed's first hour of slowness lol...got me more in the mood
anyways when he did pick it up, like expected, tore the place apart, dropped some crazy beats, memorable choon was for me Lucio Aquilina - Magic M
He played an amazing set, all different types of House that you can imagine, however for me personally the May set was better, but Howell is one of those djs that I would go see every time hes in town, the man played for so long not one error, everything was in check, a true professional dj to say the least, a pleasure hearing him always
Nice meeting Enjoy (great partying with you :D ) Piette, Layloula and Eli,
wasn't as packed as the other time, thought there would be more people don't know why...anyways great night to say the least....
when can we expect Howells (Round 3) |

| arrived at around 3:30 or so while howells was just in the midst of getting this marathon on the way. pretty good crowd, laid back, everyone was just doing there thing and of course, NO SKETCH!. musically, considering tis was my first time seeing danny, i was really impressed. i'd have to agree with the consensus on this thread at the fact that he played a wide spectrum of house which is something you dont see very often. some memorable tracks of course, cant think of them at the top of my head at the moment. to be honest i think i enjoyed digweed alot better the weak before. his set was just utter destruction compared to howells but dont get me wrong, i'd definately go see howells again without hesitation. what was up with the dj booth? it was pitch black, could only see howells when that white spotlight was on him every once in a while. but anyways, any idea if that set from may is going to be released or not? anyways, great to see all the TA's once again and of course a pleasure to meet enjoy. |

Correct me if I am wrong, but Diggers had someone open for him. Howells played all night, so that may be why he started out so slowelly.
as for the comment towards Lea on her respect for the vynils used by Howells. Isn't it a known fact that Vynils sound better + mix better?? Because I definitely also heard a difference. But I know nothing about all this stuff, so whatever. I think its cool that he dragged his vynil bag with him all the way to Mtl, I rarely see that anymore.
Sick night, great meeting you trancegal and 84th. You guys are a good team. |

Ur absolutly right, regardless tho, the slow he was playing wasn't in my liking, it was like lounge music....
even if he played a 1 hr set or 11hr set, the beginning wasn't my taste
btw....great meeting you too! :happy2: |

| that is how danny frequently starts his marathon gigs. would you prefer he just beat on some drums for 11 hours. he is a true artist. he is one of the rare djs that is his own opener and closer. show up later next time to avoid that part:) |
