| too many words to describe today but let's just say, simply amazing as only lee can bring!!! i have missed that man and it was so great to dance to his set outside under the sun on a roof top!!! can't wait for friday. i'll post more later. gotta go to sleep now, it's a school night and tomorrow is gonna hurt :crazy: |

again, can't say enough how awsome yesterday was!!!! if you were there you know what i'm talking about. he just threw down one amazing track after another. atleast 2 fanciulli tracks and of course that's all i got b/c i suck at id-ing. but i danced my ass off for the 3 and a half hours he spun! so did everyone else.
lee was his usual fun and wild self entertaining the crowd from behind the decks as only he can. love it!!! i love that venue. you'll definitely see me there a lot more next summer for the traffic events on sundays.
i really thought it would be way more packed than it was, not that i'm complaining, there was plenty of room to dance, etc but still, it's Lee, and he hasn't been to LA since december. oh well, i'm even more excited about this friday and the Lovelee party!!! i took a picture of lee on my phone and sent it to my friend marti in atlanta and she sent me one back with a pic of mike hiratzka b/c he was there in atlanta spinning for her at a club. lee got a kick out of it, too funny!!!
great seeing the TA's that were there. and what was up with the chicks yesterday???? i got hit on by like 4 girls and one wouldn't leave me alone on the dance floor. i was like someone help, anyone, lol!! they were way more aggressive than the guys were yesterday. i even had some girl say she wanted to buy me a drink but let me know she only buys drinks for those she wants to sleep with. i was like oh wow, i'm good thanks. oh yeah and ms. california from 3 years ago was there too! anyways, always a fun, eclectic crowd at the standard.

I got sick in a matter of 2 minutes last night (sarah, u know why lol). OMFG, me & alcohol on an empty stomach DO NOT mix. When the hell am I going to get that through me head? :(
I had a blast though, and was expecting it to be more packed. |

yesterday was a ton of fun. i couldn't believe it had been like 2 years since i've been to the standard...that place used to be my home away from home after work :P
lee was ing awesome!
it was great hanging out with you guys! the crowd size and atmosphere was a perfect, mellow way to wind down the weekend. and it was nice finally meeting you in person julia! sucks that you weren't feeling well :/ |

Hey Julia! I think Danny liked you A LOT yesterday. LOL :stongue: Well, the Standard does limit the capacity and turning it into a circus is not a good idea as I am sure they are concerned about their hotel guests having a calm and comfortable stay. It was a great crowd and Lee was awesome. |
