I've had this track for awhile and really dig it. I've been a fan of K-Os for quite sometime. Superstar Pt. Zero is awesome.

the 'real' hip hop sound has been making a resurgence in the last few years. The old schoolers and lovers of the true artform are leading the way.
Props to K-Os...I gotta admit, when he first came out I wasn't feeling him...this was in the early to mid 90's or so...thought he was a bit weak. But he stuck to it...and with perseverance, look where he's at now.

been feelin this track for sure....

it never died.

east coast has always been killing it, but some of these new tracks definitely stand out... but even the artists who made the ty snap/southern style crap that 'killed' hip-hop in the last few years are starting to make better sounding stuff now that less of it is being accepted into the top40... it sucks that they totally played out the once original styles of mannie fresh, three 6, etc. so badly. now when is dre gonna stop jerking off at the gym and finally finish (or start) detox? probably after 2pac resurrects

it didnt but it went so ing deep underground that it was as it died. anybody with enought cash was coming up with ultraty songs (my favourite, "im hot cause im fly you aint cause your not"), and at one point it became more of a show than music. who got shot how many times, how many bitches can i get, look at my bling.......
but its getting better, thankfully. gems like this... UNF bboy's wet dream.
wow! finally something good in the hip hop world again.
i hope the future of rap will follow this and not back to the ty cookie-cutter tracks that it was before.
the instrumental from this track reminds me a lot of maestro fresh wes.
edit: the scratching at the end is wicked. i havent seen that in a hip hop video in ages. lol @ how simple scratch/battle mixers look.
