There's been plenty of tests done that show that the expected behaviour attributed to your group can affect your actual behaviour. I don't remember the name for this, and I am a bit drunk, and it is 3 in the morning here, so I will elaborate in the morning. Basically the experiment went like this. Black students (with excellent grades) were given 2 tests. In one of them, they wrote down their name, accompanied by their race. In the other one, they only wrote their name. Guess which one had the higher scores? There's plenty of variables that could be at play here. One is the one shown by this test. The reminder of them belonging to 'blacks' actually decreases their performance. Another one could be that the particular benchmark, the SAT's, are more fine tuned to white culture than to black culture and therefore give whites an advantage. There are many other things that could be at play. |

There is absolutely no evidence that black people are less intelligent than white people. This is plain and simply a fallacy. It's the easy way to explain it away. |
