first, bell center cost a load of money
it aint the djs that are the most expensive in this party
especially new years, they rent it for a very high price
djs are not even a fifth of the total expenses
whos gonna pay 80$ on new years for a rave with no headliners and only locals ?
1500 maybe if youre lucky
cuz obviously, everyone would take their shot and put up headeilnrs in other parties...

EDM combined with Bell Centre is a HUGE draw but I agree with that. There's just too much competition, unlike BeB which had an inferior house room (imo) and still sold a load.
As for announcing the djs and stuff, personally I prefer Balenblanc to do it right over doing it fast. They didn't announce Tiesto until Oct 6 last year anyways, according to the old threads here. |
