I'm in dire need of some serious speakers... Like "open a can of premium grade A Whoop ass" speakers (for computer ofcourse) and a formidable sound card to better fit those speakers. The ones I currently have... I've been using them for ages, and they're waisted. Anyone know any killers?? :thepirate |

You'll probably be happy with high end KRK's or Mackies too. |

You might want to specify a price range. When you say "grade a can of whoopass" we start thinking of stuff in the thousands of dollar ;)
Of course, if you've got that sort of cash... Genelec 1030 or 1032's :D *drool* |

Yes, Dynaudio BM6As sound great.
Genelecs sound great too, but I don't have a pair of those. |

lots to recommend. What is your budget? Next pair of speakers I'll buy will be a pair of about 3000Euro a pair or more. IMO that's where whoop ass just begins. Serious whoop ass would be the 40k stereo setup I heard at some local audio dealer. |

Far field monitoring is cool :), but not on a bed-room situation hahaha.
I'm mostly referring to nearfield and midfield monitors which can be quite usefull in most common situations. |

I'm almost in the market for a pair of Dynaudio's.
Really debating about getting dynaudio air6/12/15 :). those have my personal preference. |
