Yes, pretty much the same in Czech. Kočka and Kočička (the hachek accents don't work for me, Kotchka, Kotchichka) are also used as slang for , not as often as Pica, but it is used. Slang dude. I'm Slovak to on one side of my family, but grew up more Czech.

I'm a girl yo :happy2:

I've never heard of kocka or kocicka being used as a slang to mean . P...a is a profanity, an obscene word, I think you can't compare it like that to those other words. And I am Slovakian-born, but I have a Czech grandmother :), hence I got to learn Czech from an early-age... and I have a Hungarian grandfather from the other side of the family as well! :) It's so cool for me cause I can divide my grandparents by nationality: my Slovakian grandpa, my Hungarian grandpa,... LOL :) But I only do that here in Canada... :gsmile:

The focus of this thread has really shifted from the initial topic it was started with, btw...

Yes, nice chattin' with you, btw! I haven't met a Slovak girl in this city since one I met at the Pheonix a few years ago. She was a student who just arrived to study and I was the first Czechoslovakian person she met in Canada. She was a cutie!
We're such a small group.

Thank you! Nice talkin' to you too :) Did you keep in touch with her? It must've been good for her to meet someone from the old country... The number of times I met someone from back home was so rare, I could count it on the fingers of both of my hands... but now we have a friend from Slovakia too, she's new to Canada (been here only a few months), and we see her almost every week, so that's good! :) Tak ahoj and take care! ;)
