Holy crap! I just got the DJ's Bible, ooops I mean ProSound catalog, and they have the DJM700 on sale for $1299 (MSRP $1500)!!!! That's how much I got my DJM800 for! They also raised the price of the DJM800 to $1549 (MSRP $1699)!!! Ouch!!! For those that don't know, the DJM700 is Pioneer's new mixer. It's essentially a stripped down version of the DJM800.

Haha. Man, in that long 700 thread I don't think anyone anticipated them RAISING the 800's price.

Never would have guessed that either. Glad I bought mine when I did. I guess if thier supply can't keep up with the demand, they can get away with raising the price. Super weak though. |

A fine choice. My only beef with that mixer is that the knobs are a little too close together, but I guess you get used to it. |
