Is there an easy way to get free cable? (pg. 3)

thanks for all the help guys, maybe i will try to 'remove the filter', maybe one of my buddies has done it before and can help me so i dont totally it up....
and yeah i have my cable internet thing plugged into the TV..... which is why i am gettin channels 2-6 like someone said before
i dont need free satelite, i just need the basic sports channels and i am good |

i get my cable for free too.. by having the filter removed..
mine was actually taken off by rogers workers a long time ago as they were doing some maintenance on the green box on my street... i simply approached one of them and told them i would purchase them a case of beer if they would remove the filter for me.. they gave me a puzzled look as if noone had ever asked them to do that before and said "we'll see".. i went back into my house, an hour passed and one of the workers came knocking at the door.. i asked him if they would do it.. he said "sure, under one condition.." i let him use my washroom.. he did his business and left, only to come back asking to use the tiolet one more time.. haha..
till this day i still recieve free upgrades.. |

thats badass!!!
cable is pricey though! but really I dont know what i would do without it....seriously. i didnt have it for like a month and it was boring as hellllllllllll. internet is not enough to keep me entertained that long...ie: sometime i just want to chill on the couch and watch some tv.
i need to find the cable room in my building ;)
although i dont pay for my net ;) |

i find it kind of the same way. the interent is good for new shows that come out. i save at least 40 min by watching heroes and prison break on my computer because i don't have to watch those commercials.
but i do like to sit back on a saturday afternoon and watch those reruns of seinfeld, married with children, simpsons and family guy. |

totally agree. TBS has gotten me through some really boring days... and now it's PeachTree Television!! :eek: |

Use a roof antenna, or the amplified UFO antenna you can get from the Source/Radio Shack. An antenna like that gets you all the local and Buffalo stations for FREE. This works for me.
Best of all, you don't pay a penny for HDTV. Yes, you pick up HDTV with an antenna.
for additional channels, I have Joost, and connect my laptop to my big screen. |

btw, i forgot but Teletoon Retro just came out oct 1. they are having a free preview of it for a whole month if u have digital cable. |
