The most common misconception people hold about me is that I'm constantly mad. For some reason I never smile and have a serious look on my face in everyday life. Lol I'll always have people come up to me and ask me if something is wrong. It's funny cause people think I'm all serious and stuff :p . Another thing is people tend to think I'm vain, or concieted. The word makes more sense in spanish "creido", been called that many a times by girls. For the most part it stems from me not having the "want" to say hi or acknowledge everyone. Which leads people to belive im an cause I wont say hi to or talk to them at work and engage in idiotic-I-don't-care-about-your-life small talk. |
I used to have really bad anxiety and depression and when girls would say "hi" to me I would just ignore them because I didn't feel very good at the time. I kind of feel bad because they will probably misinterpret the situations and it could lower their self-esteem. :P Seriously though, I hope girls don't take it too personally. I've shunned some hots ones...*smacks forehead* |

At least they said hi to you. I get weird looks fullstop, i think cos i have a lack of fashion sense & look stupid. |

Not quite the misconceptions people are talking about, but I got asked if I was american by one of my customers today ('so you're frum the states?' was kind of wtf), and asked if I was english yesterday by a co-worker. Until January I'd never even left the east coast, and that was only to move here to SA :conf: No idea wtf that's about. Maybe I've picked up an accent from hanging out on vent playing mmo's since I was 13 or something?
Personality wise, my mood tends to vary a lot which affects the way I act towards people, so depending on whether I'm feeling happy/outgoing or ty/antisocial, people seem to get a totally different impression of me when we first meet. Equals out after I know them a while I guess, so not a huge issue. |

haha yesterday was horrible. I get the bus into town & i'm sneezing lots at the bus park. the only seats are towards the back so i sit down & chill to my music & when i get off i let this cute girl from behind me go by & she gives me a weird look despite saying thanks. I goto the bathroom in M&S cos they're clean & I was picking up some fresh salad & veg from there & to my horror i have a huge piece of dry snot stuck to the underside of my nose (the bit between the 2 nostrils) I mean I know i'm not going to attract people of her level of looks anyway but was it embarassing |
