what better way to showcase the epic visuals of GTAIV (and of course, a homage to the cinematic arts! :) )

Most of you have only played ONE of the two systems in question. So hush it up. NOW WHAT?

It's been confirmed there is going to be a new 40 gb model for 400.00 coming late Oct.-Nov., so save your money until then.

Also, this new version WILL be backward compatible with ps1/2 games but it will emulate them through software instead of hardware. (a cost cutting move by Sony).

400 for a blue ray plus a gaming system is a nice deal.

Not normally, but in this case it is a serious issue.

The Ps3 uses a far more complicated CPU with a very little performance increase. Using its full power in the futre is going to be stupidly complicated and I doubt many developers will be prepared to deal with it. 360 however, uses the trusty tried and tested and generally more efficient standard proccessing design, a proccessor with three cores(If my memory serves me correctly).

If this console war is more longer term (Say maybe, eight years or so.) Though I doubt it, Sony will be itching to release a new console altogether by the end of this war trust me) Than specifications will be vitally important to keep the console fresh. This is where I'm fairly certain Wii will lose with its frankly pathetic specifications. I personally advise against buying the giant £170 gimick that is Wii and urge everyone to buy the 360, the only console with the hardware to last in this war.

360 crashes like a mother******....so if you want a stable machine go with ps3

360's dont crash anymore, they just break. Even then, stories of them breaking time and time again are usually exagurations.

Truth is, they could break no-end of times but when you focus your opinion on other opinions coming from the 'life amplified' internet were everything is parodied and opinions are either extreme or completely passive you start to develop bias beyond real logic. In actual fact, when you look around you in the real world 360's rarely break more than once (I've had two 360's so far, only one broke and was replaced good as new within three days, (the other which I have now) hasnt broke yet)and are replaced extremely quickly. Outof all my friends and family (7 360's) only one has broke. Mine.

1 in 7 is still not great, but it would be a serious issue if Microsoft wasnt so happy to replace it so quickly.

Xbox 360 cause it has way better games. The PS3's only advantage is the blueray drive...
