awesome show! so chunky and groovy.... really kicked ass with all the controllers... =) how much of it was pre-programmed???? how much was his own?

mau5 had awesome FX in there... he came on around 0:45, kicking off which ever DJ before him was spinnnnin "poperazzi music"

it was such a nice change of pace when jaded and faxing berlin came on...! but at 330 it became too repetitive imo, too much the same groove..... but the kid's got mad skills! looked like he was into it as well :happy2:

i recognized a lot of his productions but they seemed to be melted with some other groovelines....sick sick sick

i love that perception that when a track is played by its original producer then it somehow becomes more special.

faxing berlin and jaded were - the fact that deadmaus played it didnt improve them

also who was the opener for him that was playing this "poperazzi" music?
delobbo
for me, yes, its more special to hear a song played by the person who made it.

Totally agree... my favorite song of the night had to be "The reward is cheese" around 3:30 it seemed like he played the same song for 7 minutes straight with the same repetitive beat. I left before 4. Honestly i expected more, i guess he'll be worth seeing in another few years when he gets his live set in order.

actually, all the sounds were so mmuch on the same level,, not maximal, not minimal, that having something like fxing berlin or jaded come in made it THAT much more interesting... kapiche?;)

I don't think I'll ever be going back to Crobar... unless it's for somebody I am dying to see. The door staff was abrasive beyond belief.
