So last night I was in a local club pretty drunk and sitting in the VIP with a few friends. The DJ, a friend of ours, brings Everything But A Girl's "Missing" into the mix. The version that he played is the very popular Todd Terry Club Mix. Halfway into the track two of my friends start arguing that this particular version of the track is a classic tune and that its probably a top 10 electronic track of all time. They start throwing Cafe Del Mar, Greece 2000, and many others out there and saying that Todd Terry's mix of "Missing" is as classic.
Considering that the track is about 12 years old and that it still get played I can see the "classic" claim, but do you think its a top 10 worthy track? Personally I'm not sure. I would maybe stick in top 25 or 50. |

| It's a good track, but I don't consider it a classic. |

| It's a good song, a classic for sure, but it would not make my top 10 and neither would Cafe Del Mar and Greece 2000. |

| The "Top 10" would be a very exclusive list indeed. |

Everyone has different tastes and different opinions, no wrong answer there...what makes your top 10, will surely not make someone elses' top 10.
Anyway, it's a good track that brings back many memories. Personally, I love it. Max Graham dropped it the last time I saw him live, and it just fit in the moment so good, it surely is a timeless track :)
Same thing with "Greece 2000". Rowan used it as the closing track of his August Chinese Laundry set and it fits perfectly. A very nice surprise ;) |

| Brilliant track, the EDM top 10 doesn't have to be filled with trance, this track is gem. Really emotive, I love it to bits, always have. Alot of tracks from the so-called Twilo era were damn good and this is one of them... |

It is an incredible remix and a total classic.
Certainly up there right near the top.
I have two copies- with the acoustic full length, and the beats on their own.. can do a nice long acoustic chilled intro, then bring the beats in as and when.... |

I definitely fall into the "It's a classic" camp - and *might* well be right up there on my all-time top 10 list.
Either way, Jay Lumen and that twat he got to sing the vocals on his "cover" should be shot out of a cannon into the sun. |
