Is Pepsi Forum downtown ???
if you're on a shoe string budget, there's some cheap ones on St-Hubert as well. You may as well bring your own sheets.. and ignore the signs that say 1-hour Siestas :gsmile: :stongue:

Pepsi Forum is the old Montreal Canadiens Forum arena, for those that didn't know already. It's a little west of the main downtown, corner Atwater and Ste-Catherine West.
The Forum closed in 1996 when the team moved to the Molson (now Bell) Center. They converted the old Forum into a movie theatre/entertainment complex with a couple restaurants and a few stores. The site of the riginal center ice of the Forum is still there with a couple rows of Canadiens red seats.
Tiesto, Sultan and some others played an event in 2002 called Forza. Don't think they had anything else there, besides a failed attempt at "Sona V.2", a club called Industry that didn't last that long. I think a new club, Tonic, is there now. But for this event, it will probably be the whole open space in the mezzanine, which will be sick!!
Sorry if this was posted already, but it should give you a good idea of the layout of the space:
I thought I saw Yvon Cournoyer with glow sticks. Excellent vid and posting that should help sell even more tix.
Re: hotel, I suggest the Belvedere across the street.. you got the mall there too with the SAQ, Pharmaprix (some MTLTA works there I think?), IGA, Atwater subway station, etc. Rates are reasonable, rooms are large with separate bedrooms, two twin beds and the room also comes with a full kitchen with fridge to store your food.
