I'll just sleep in my car! I figure if I park in Casino Montreal in the Underground parking lot it should be fine and not to cold. I could get a decent sleep in there.

Im gonna be going down for 2 nights, the night off and the next night. I think its worth the money, to be able to swim in the hotel and chill out in a nice room and not have to drive back right away in crappy winter conditions.

You should and you if you did, you will come again. You probably heard about the sound system, the crowd. everything. I had some perfect nights there.

Not only what Alex said about fan base, Sasha & Digweed's mixing alone would be enough to make them 9000000000000000000000 times better

The only reason why AVB and Tiesto are more popular is because they cater mostly to the people that are just getting into the scene, they are the mainstream DJ's to hear, nothing really wrong with that, everybody needs to start somewhere....

think of it as AVB & Tiesto as your first '97 Honda Accord and think of Sasha & Digweed as your 2007 BMW 3 Series Coupe....your right, quality is incomparable

:tongue2

Cars is a pretty poor example in this case I would say..... But seriously are you trying to say if you let those 20000 people from La listen to Sasha & Digweed they would go crazy just like for Tiesto... That does not seem right, I mean maybe there is just that moment where you grow out of trance it is just history for you.

I know people who live in Moscow, where I come from, who have listened to trance for over 12 years and honestly they still love it a lot, some of them like house as well, but honestly I think it is just the preference of Montreal... or even more North America to say. Europe, Australia, Middle east, people don't seem to be having a problem with trance. If what your trying to say that fanbase does not explain how good a DJ is, you are both right and wrong in my opinion. He might not be as skilled as the other DJ, but he did come out at the right time with the right music that appealed to more and more people, where lets say some of the underground house just stays underground and probably will stay underground.

For me tho, house is great, I love it more as the soul music... but I like Trance just as much if not more, but like i said before w/e suits you)

Pretty long rant, w/e just my 2 cents...

you cannot even compare sasha and digweed to tiesto / armin

sasha and digweed are on a totaly different level of excellence. Plus they are more experianced, they have more years of djing under thier belt.
Spin Laden
it a progressive sound, a taste that is acquired, imo. Once you feel it, you'll find that Armin and Tiesto sounds like edm fluff.

Again man, in your opinion that's what it is, but I mean I have heard live sets from Sasha and Digweed, they are great, no complaints but I would not go saying this is better then Armin or Tiesto.. Armin plays melodic vocal crap a lot, tiesto has a lot of beat... I did like tiesto more like in 2003, but Armin is fine for me now... Tiesto's style is getting old but he still knows how to make the people chant his name and how to throw a good party.. for 20000...
Spin Laden
actually, if you like trance, you'll find both Sasha and Digweed layer their sets with trance too.. they are just so progressive though that you'll hear all sorts of sounds/genres. They're just that damn good but you won't get that in many of the sets available for downloading on TA.

Thank you, and this is from a guy in TO!!!!!!

i love sasha, digweed, cattaneo, hawtin, cox, villalobos, liebing, beyer, picotto, holden AND i love Ferry, Schulz, Armin, Tiesto, PVD, Above & Beyond. Most of all i like parties that are fun, and put any edm in there and it's fun for me. I like almost all types of EDM. WHat the hell is wrong with ppl hating on other genres??? this is the reason i was turned off by the hip hop scene.

PPL have different tastes. Thats it.

Sasha & Digweed will be someone's BMW and Armin & Tiesto could be someone else's Mercedes. They don't have to be 1997 hondas!!!!

Whats better 2007 BMW 3 series or 2007 Mercedes C-class? One's sportier, one's a bit classier, yet they are both sick rides that are popular.

And they would both make a good drive anywhere. Enjoy the music.
Spin Laden
speaking of driving, trance is great for that. I don't hate it, just can move to it like I do prog house.
