The main reason why most A list Djs started to use CDS is simple.... its because they dont have to check them in for flights and risk losing them (which was common before CDs became commonplace).
The industry has followed on from that, and now there are lots of reasons in addition to that initial and main one. |

Everytime I've seen Armin live (about 4 or 5 time), it was on CDs and no laptop. So I bet he's using it for his radioshow. |
