Biden, Edwards, Richardson, in that order of preference.

And aside from their political affiliation, what do you know about any of those three?

I'm just curious as to how they are "fatally flawed" in your opinion.

Undecided up until today.

But thanks to Senator Dodd for standing up and putting a hold on the disgusting FISA bill that would have granted amnesty to Bush and the telecom industry for their warrantless wiretaps, he just won my vote for good.

And a little campaign donation to go with it:

lol ron paul

just lol

I chose barack obama because he wants to reduce our nuclear stockpile, and get us out of iraq. Brave man. And, so what if he's less experienced, that just means he's less corrupt, lol. Or maybe this is just my NJ mind again. :sadgreen:

It will. No other candidate in the Democratic party has shown 1/2 a spine as Dodd did today. Whether or not he wins the primary isn't the crux of the issue to me. His principled stance on this illegal surveillance issue won my vote, and I will hold to that vote for him as a result.

So because they aren't higher in the polls they are therefore "fatally flawed?" Last I checked, Edwards is still running pretty good in Iowa (1st or 2nd I believe). He's got a good shot at S. Carolina as well. I'll agree that Biden and Richardson are longshots, but I'd hardly characterize them as "fatally flawed" as a consequence.

Added in Edit: I was wrong about S. Carolina. Edwards is getting creamed there:

The only place he's doing okay in is Iowa:

Everywhere else he's a distant third, occasionally second.

More with the facts. "Lala land" is not specific. Give us more juicy things to talk about.

There's clearly some motivation that you've got for dismising these candidates. If you can put it down in writing you might be able to convince others to with draw thier support.

Give it a shot, even complaints about the way they dress or that they have bad breath are valid.

Simply because they are not frontrunners means I shouldn't support them? Tell that to everyone cheering for Ron Paul too.

I'm being honest here, I want to hear why you think Edwards and Richardson are in "lala land" as you say. If you can convince me, I will change my vote.

However, I do think it is interesting that you had nothing to say about Biden, who I would argue has shown at least as much courage as Dodd (though regretably not on FISA).
