Cheap laptop, powerful desktop. But if I had to choose, desktop. They are usually more upgradeable and unless your a college student living in a dorm or travel a lot or do business, you really don't need a laptop. Though if all you do is email and word and such...a laptop is fine, or a cheap desktop for that matter. I'm used to having $3,000 desktops for gaming haha.
Desktops usually are faster, have better graphics and sound cards and like I said...you can upgrade them easier. Most laptops your stuck with what you get. You might be able to add more memory or a bigger hard drive, and now they are releasing some PCI slot sound cards to improve the sound quality if you listen to music or watch movies. Laptop speakers usually suck. |
