Zomg mezzir is gonna be on an album!

So on the album i uh...'released' last month there was a remix of an old paulson song 'not by a long shot', and recently I sent them a copy and they like it, and asked me to do a remix for an upcoming itunes only EP. Got a cut almost done and i'm waiting on the raw tracks from them, wasn't sure if it was gonna happen, but they just put a bulletin up on myspace with the tracklist:

So if you don't know, ever since we got home from the He Is Legend tour, we've been working on a new record, which is an incredible amount of work. So to break up the monotony, we decided to record some stuff and do an itunes only digital single/ep for Calling On You. It's going to feature the album version of Calling On You, some alternate versions, a few of our covers that we do live and the video for like $4.99. What a deal, here's the skinny:
We will have four versions of calling on you. Our friend Andrew from the band Thursday is doing a remix, this dude DJ Mezzir is doing a remix, our very own keyboardist John Guarente arranged a sweet choral a cappella version, and then there's the regular version. So here's the tracklisting:
1) Calling On You (Album Version)
2) Calling On You (Andrew Everding Remix)
3) Calling On You (DJ Mezzir Remix)
4) Calling On You (A Cappella)
5) Wonderwall
6) Party All The Time
7) Better Off Alone
This will be out in late November/first week of December. We'll let you know when the date gets firmed up. |
