fav. trance djs?
armin, though lately i haven't really been as big of a fan of his stuff as i used to be... so i'm not sure if this still counts.
above and beyond..
ferry ...
I'm giving Markus Schulz a whirl lately, not sure where i stand with him yet.
edit: okay, so its two days later and ive been listening to "best of markus" non stop. I might actually have to say that he's better than Armin. Which... for me is a huge deal..cuz Armin was the for the longest time in my mind..Woo |

I find it amusing that people are mentioning somedjs as their favorite djs without even seeing them live or just by seeing them on youtube.
I mean I can understand about producers, you hear a new track you hear their tracks its fine but when you havent even seen your favorite dj live and yet call him your favorite dj...
I JUST DONT GET IT
anyone care to explain |

well, that's rough. DJ's who mix whole sets are liked for their choice of combining certain tracks and how well they do it. (i.e. ASOT, ISOS, blah blah). Of course, how they perform in a club and on the dancefloor is equally important. :)
For instance, to defend my fav djs - Ferry was the first DJ I saw live in North America, I have seen Armin 5 times (have shirts, cds, etc signed), I have also seen many other djs...and while they rocked up the dance floor, i chose my fav djs based on the fact that I enjoy their music in and out of club atmosphere.
Above and Beyond (and recently Markus Schulz) are "favs" because I really enjoy just about anything that I hear from them. Above and Beyond has awesome mixes of already awesome songs, so that can't go wrong lol |

so far im disappointed with above and beyond their set at BeB didnt impress me at all they threw a pure CLASSICS set. which some people liked others including myself who likes some variety in my trance didnt like.
markus I ve seen him many times sometimes its WOW others its just ok but im sure he ll kick it a notch come new years. |
