Actually far from a noob but its cool. I know it takes order but that isnt the big thing in deciding if you like a dj or not. It comes down to what they play. Why is there a demand for playlist and not effectlist and discussions on how they transition and mix between tracks? And why would someone run out of hits? If a dj brings noth9ing but killer hits from their own tracks and others, how is that a ty night? Why go through the ty 5 boring intro tracks before you get to the good ones? Like Sasha, i hate his dj skills becuase of this. He starts of with 5-6 tracks that kills all the hype that was there from the intro dj. Sasha messes with filters over and over before he truly gets people liking his sets - when the tracks he really wants to play kick in. I find this retarded. THere are opening djs to set people going, the headliner doesnt need to do this all over again, killing the crowd and then leading them back up.

wow I just read this....dude, please.....step away from your keyboard.. |

No, let him keep going, I don't even think he's an alt so he has no excuse, it's just in' hilarious at this point.
"A Dj doesn't have to be good at DJing to be a good DJ"!!!!!!!!!!!! |

sorry to break it to ya, but most go to see the producer and not the dj who simply takes other tracks and messes with filters and effects, hence the results in the poll. If a great producer can mix alright, he will win dj polls over the non producer who mixes amazing.
Just look at every damn dj poll.
But, what am i saying, your all so right. Maybe im looking at the wrong dj polls. Djmag, tranceaddict, thedjlist... they must be all wrong. Thousands of idiots like me must be voting wrong. So in reality polls dont mean and number 1,000 is just as good as number 1.
GOD, how could i have been so retarded. |

At least make it a little harder for us champ, but nice try, usually if you're the one asking the questions you're the one that looks smart... Usually.
but of course the polls are the most accurate way of judging talent! TRUST THE POLLS... THE POLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLS!!!!oneoneoneone |

for once you got something right....polls don't mean and the reason why they are garbage is because idiots like yourself don't know jack about DJ'ing and idiots like yourself decide to vote anyway. And that is the sad truth, more idiots like yourself like seeing guys that can't mix for they life than guys than can deliver an amazing flowing night. And that is the sad truth of EDM today.. |

Ya.
It is sad when a producer can show up at a gig, play a horrible set but at the end drop that "HUGE BOMB" of his/her's and just because the n00bs got to hear that one track, the previous 3-5 hours of the night gets erased from their memory... Including the opening DJ's set which was probably 900 times better. |

Do i look like i care? I didn't even vote. |

Just my take. I think the production of a song is harder and more talent then djing strictly. So many like myself support the artists who produce and not just artists who play them.
So thats how they get our votes. They make killer tracks and play them at a club - dj them. If they do it well, they make our top ten. |

| And now you contradict yourself, I suppose it was only a matter of time. |

how do i contradict myself? Producers get my vote above anything. I said beforehand, if a dj (producer) plays their tracks with other good tracks with no progression bull, just good song after good song, they own the dancefloor and therefore own the votes.
Tracklist is the most important thing in polls and picking a dj. Not how they mix the tracks with filters and effects. |
