The release of ISOS6 made him sky rocket [again].

I wonder if the list is really true because last year I beleive Tiesto was telling ppl NOT to vote for him. Also, he fuked up big time when he didn't play @ the DJ Mag release party [where they have a special set from the newly crowned #1]

So if he IS that high.. then what.. the.. fuk.

We'll see if the list is 100% correct cuz of course Dj Mag is swearing it's not true.

as much as isos6 rocked and as well as the club life shows have been doing, those are not the reasons tiesto would be #2 again. unfortunately, its his elements of life world tour. that mother****** went pretty much everywhere, doubt theres ever been a tour that big before in edm. ty album, pretty much ty parties with the same old tracks i dont want to ever hear again, but that kinda appeals and sells a lot of tickets, which means he'll sell more albums, and at the end of the day get more votes.

isos6 > eol by a ing billion light years, but i bet eol makes him more money.

IMO only 4 of the top 10 DJs even belong in the top 10: PVD, Sasha, Carl Cox and Corsten.

And I do not hate Armin or Tiesto. But neither one of them had a good year musically. They can tour the entire world and pack the venues with a bunch of brainless losers that think they are listening to the messiah drop the greatest tracks in history. But musically they are not fooling anyone with a brain and that actually heard them years ago when they were playing stuff with substance. Their sets nowadays do not compare
MeLLyMeL
Pvd
Sasha
Corsten.

In a perfect world that would be the top 3. ;)

I can't believe Oakenjoke is before Markus or even in the top 100 for that matter...

w/e Diggers being 3rd is pretty retarded...I would have understood Sasha but not diggers.

DJ Mag has proven this year MORE THAN EVER to be COMPLETE BS.

Although I am happy for Sander & Markus moving way up, I am not counting on them to move much farther cuz obviously the majority of voters like whack ass DJ's.

Wax on... Wax off..
edit - Oh and Armins Sensation White set where he first played message in a bottle is prob the last great set I heard from the man. [D/L'd]

That Sensation Set '05 and his Trance Energy '06 sets are the best I've heard, and naturally they were overseas. The 2nd time I saw him was at Spundae in L.A. in January '06 and it was ok but nothing compared to the aforementioned two Euro sets, alhough Armin's WMC '07 set @ Twilo was def better than average, and ambs will testify that his Pawn Shop solo set was very good.

Yeh, i am disheartened too. Maybe the people who voted listened to his VONYC sessions cause those things mostly suck and do not represent seeing him live in any way. It seems PVDs team doesnt want as many live sets out there so they have limited broadcast to push the vonyc sessions. Blech

Well hopefully his DJ booking prices come back down so promoters will bring him to the smaller cities more often
