| so yeah, i've seen threads for "omg 6 hour set" or something like that. but i've been asked to dj for a 12 hour gig...yes...from 9 AM to 9 PM....i just need bloody tips...im ganna have my friend who is a sub-par DJ to take over for a little bit at a time (like 20 minutes here and there) but i mean really...how am i supposed to do this. |

I hope you've prepared a lot of coke for that 12 hour escapade :wtf:
But damn, thats a long ass time, but at the same time a really good way to get used to playing longer sets and being comfortable with DJ'ing. |

not from 9 am tho cuz i havent been up that early since god knows when.
i think it was 8pm to 8 am.. new years 2006
i played everything from house to hiphop to prog to deep house to 80s |

| Where will you be spinning for that period? Also how much are you getting paid? Typically I don't have a problem spinning lengthy sets as it often affords new opportunities in set programming but for 5+ hours you want it to be worth your time (at least in my experience). |
