I've played that before, it's fun. And no, "everybody loses" doesn't happen often in the game.

That, and while Bush is certainly one of the most moronic people on the face of the earth, I (surprisingly) don't think that he's that stupid enough to piss off Russia like that.
Don't mistake idiocy for connivery. He has everything to gain from you and hordes of other people truly believing what he has done has been out of ignorant mistakes, but wouldn't that be just the most clever ruse of them all? To make the world believe that you brought it to shambles on accident when there's just so much to gain from picking up the pieces?

Well, it's a rather exaggerated sounding account, but the ninth chapter of Revelation describes a 200 million man army destroying 1/3 of mankind. The book also speaks of "the kings of the east" uniting to make war on Israel. The Euphrates river is supposed to be dried up so they can advance, and I believe Turkey built a damn which would enable this to happen.
But, on the flip side of all those arguments, you can read those verses and make them apply to damned near any time and place or nothing at all, even. It all comes down to a matter of personal beliefs, I suppose.

Most people accept that Revalation was written for a Christian audience suffering under Emperor Nero. It was meant to give hope that the return of Jesus was imminent. I can't believe people try to apply it to the modern age.
