AROD to Boston????
Scott Boras is a master bull artist. ARod to Boston hype is perfect to increase Boston's bidding considering Boston is the biggest fish in this market at the moment (trying to get the yanks to enter????) It would be a devastating lineup if boston had AROD, but it would also be a cast of characters. At least Mike Lowell would be a lock in for the yanks.
seems like no sox fans want AROD (he would ruin the chemistry & potential dynasty), i can agree with that. but i think sox fans are getting carried away with dynasty talk, they don't have the youthful talent to sustain a dynasty.

I don't think A-Rod would fit in at Boston...No one likes him,,they don't need him and Lowell is going nowhere...Manny and Pappi will leave if they signed him......UNLESS he developed a personality.... |

i agree (as i reflected in my edit).
Now that i've witnessed what has occurred in the past week, i am happy he's gone. i hope the yanks steal lowell from the sox. he seems to be a throwback to the scott brosius/charlie ward type player. |

mattingly is my favorite yankees player of all time, but he's not the right guy to manage. he won't be able to manage a pitching staff, and he's a mirror image of torre's demeanor.
also, i'm confident girardi isn't the reason for the arm problems of the marlins pitchers. |

yea mattingly over gerardi would deff not be the right choice
i think gerardi will have a lil more lou pinella in him then torre
who will actually yell and scream at his players to get his point across
as for pettite not commin back iam sad we really needed him
maybe the rocket will come back who knows |

+1....everything you just said.....mattingly is my fav of all time (besides jeter) but we need a hard ass in position!!!
