...and it ing rocked!!!!!
ahhhh!!!! matt hardwick playe dthe best 2 hour set id ever heard ever!! it was great coz he played all these uplifting tunes like ralhpie B - massive, but also he played ding a ling (scot project remix) first!!!! and he played that shokk remix of altitude when i asked him! :) picotto was in quality as well, although the last hour of his set wasnt nowhere near as good as the first two! but he was ing bangin!!! hey, i even like carvin dalek, he played good proggy set with trancey elements thrown in there, top draw! but the night was totally stolen by hardwick who once agaoin proved he was the ing daddy!
and yeh, i managed to go the whole night with just one pill, although u cud really tell that toward the end of the night, heheheh! :p
hardwick is god :)
edit: oh yeh he played this absiloute quality tune whivch sounded like a softer version of never look back! |

Corvin Dalek's set was banging towards the end, but Mauro Picotto played a ing AMAZING set! 3 hours of banging techno music. The crowd were screaming for more, but Matt Harddick took over, and it went downhill from there.
Matt Hardwick ed it up with chillout tunes, but got better towards the end. His mixing was great throughout, but I don't think the crowd were too happy when he started dropping his Ralphie B's and Rank 1's. He can shove them up his arse. I think Picotto should lend him a few of his vinyls. His set got better towards the end, but I'm fairly sure he turned the sound down (then again the sound system and acoustics in Foundation are like nowhere else I've seen). I liked it when he dropped Expander (flutlicht mix).
Picotto ing rocked though. He did that dodgy south park thing again as well.
Picotto's set was one of the best I have ever heard. I just wish he was on all night! Can't wait to see Picotto again some time! |

picottos set was terrible for the last hour apart from umek - gatex! loads of people ed off from the dancefloor and sat at the sides, which was kinda good coz i got way more space to dance, it was right ing cramped at the start, and a bit hot! (the cieleings were dripping near the end). and i requested the flutlicht and shokk tunes :) hehe coz i know he has them coz he has played one or two of them recently, although i totally didnt expect the scot project mix of ding a ling. right now im on a ty comedown, coz near the end i hads a laod of base jsut to try it, and it didnt kick in till we were almost home!!! also notable that corvin played some remix of meet her at the loveparade! oh yeh i forgot picotto played back to cali near the end of his set as well which woke a few people up!
and that new laser is quality, speacially when it had self scatter and the scattering off the disco balls :) |

Yeah it works well shining the laser off several mirror balls, but I can't help but think most of the effects are on the left hand side.
The lighting, lasers and smoke are all on the left side. The odd laser bounces off the balls to the right, but not often.
I felt a few drops on my head after Picotto's set. I thought some tosser might be pouring drink over the side from the Always room, until I realised it was condensation from the roof. It was pretty sweaty. |

Do you reckon anyone'll put the sets up for download.
I went to their site, they only have 3 sets up for download, and they're all from last year. Since this was a big event for them, they might put Picotto's set up.
I'll keep a lookout on AG.
How many tunes can you remember from Picotto's set, as I'm trying to ID as many as possible. So far we've got:
DJ Elite - That Fuct Camera
Marco Zaffarano - Re-Take (Tedesco mix)
Midfield General - Coat Noise (Dave Clarke remix)
Mauro Picotto - Verdi
Mauro Picotto - Back to Cali
Mauro Picotto - Bangkok
Mauro Picotto - Baguette
Umek - Gatex
I am also looking for the very last tune he played, the tune he played right after GATEX, and that South Park tune.
Do you remember any others? |

These are from the Promise website. I can't find myself in any, but I'll look harder later. Ste, tell me if you can see yourself in any of these, or check www.promisealways.com/bday for others. There're over 80, so these are just some. I can't be arsed to sift through all the good ones, but I'll try to leave out the ty pictures.
The place was damn hot. Sweat and condensation began to drip from the ceiling late on, and when I touched the pillar at the front it was soaked. The lasses make up started to wear off by about 4am. Bloody boiling. As you can see they like to keep the place dark, which I like.

This is some Scottish lad I was talking to, or rather shouting at, as there was only a couple of breakdowns all night until Hardwick came on. He only had one face when I was talking to him though.

That pillar was SOAKED with sweat and condensation.
