gah, it really sucks when this happens. the over-commercialization of EDM is turning events into random gatherings of random people. i remember for like 3 years i went out and never even saw a fistfight at an EDM event/club, back when it was just a really niche thing here.
as soon as it got big, you'd see fights, "gangs" beating up one guy, all kind of messed up at bigger events and even clubnights. it hasn't gotten to a point where larger scale violent crime has seeped in, but bleh. i guess it only takes being in the wrong place at the wrong time. |
