See, I always hated this show and kinda had a suspicion that it was ruining America, but now this came on. And, after seeing Seth McFarlane actually talk as himself, I feel the closest to a murderous rampage as I've ever been in my life. Seriously, do people actually find this show funny?
I admit I watched the first season when it was on, and it had a few moments, but even by the end of the season the few things that were funny about the show were tired and played out, and that was after one season, whats it up to now, six?
For 's sake, please die Seth McFarlane |

I like it, and I like The Smiths too - so it can't be all bad, right?

| And, as a tie in to my frequent tirades about how I hate the student body of UMass and I think they're stupid arrogant ******s, I just checked facebook to see how it ranked under favorite tv shows among UMass students. It's #1. [crap.gif] |

Ah, it's like that pretty much everywhere.
It's just a show that proves that timing and pot are all it takes to make something palettable |

Family Guy is great. Love it how they just rip into anyone. Yes it can get a bit repetitive but that's one of the charms of the show. Classic cartoon series.
I haven't seen this ep yet. |

It's also an example I'm using in a paper I'm writing now about how the average American's attention span is deplorably short, and entertainment catering to this fact lacks depth as a result. |

Are you writing the paper under your pseudonym, "Captain Obvious"?
:conf:
And while I do agree with you on a lot of cases, I certainly don't think it's a rule - and I also don't necessarily see anything wrong with entertainment that "lacks depth."
It has, and always will, exist. Nothing will ever change that. Nothing. Ever. Seriously, don't get your hopes up. |

Two years ago the campuswide records etc system transitioned from almost entirely paper to PeopleSoft, some of the tiest software I've ever heard of. And yeah, it happened to other people, but i found this out just this summer when i took the pre-test to pass out of it in the summer of 04. |
