I proudly support file sharing. I didnt spend a penny on my 650+GB of music. Theres a lot of places to download mp3's for free.
I use Soulseek v157. Theres a few torrent sites like club-trance, mysweetmp3 and a load of other sites im sure.
I ing hate it when dj's act like they pay for their mp3's. |

i pay for my tunes and i dont even dj anywhere besides my living room.
dancerecords.com has mp3's for .89 i believe. |

some good ones to add to the list.
personally I like to download tunes from soulseek/music blogs/whatever and then go back and buy the ones I actually like. It's a lot easier to choose songs to play when you get to listen to the whole song instead of just samples. but that's really my motivation, rather than any intent to play stolen music. and i delete the songs i don't end up buying. |

no not a leecher, but a major douche bag is about right. everyone has leeched at some point, but only a true douche bag still thinks its cool to brag about his pirated music and porn stash over and over again like it's still high school. maybe it is for you? maybe you're just lonely and fishing for e-friends with these statements? and please stop acting you know how real djs get their music, you don't even know any real djs :stongue: |

I pay for all my tracks as well. I have spent thousands on mp3's and wav's. Just a portion of what i was spending on vinyl so im happy.
If i had a track out, id want everybody who was rocking it to pay the $2 for it as well.
We wont have full time producers moving forward with the music and writing great stuff for us to play if we dont at least support their work and just steal it instead.
of course i trade tracks with friends once in a while :D |
