on the i-hate-pacha-thread......I think its a well known fact that every single person that goes to this club would flock to anything esle that opens up and brings in the big names. in fact, that is the ONLY reason why I go there and will be the first one in line when corbar/etc opens. I dont know how the politics of made/pacha works, but whoever is responsible for the running of that place is gonna have a reality check if any other place opens. I love clubbing, and have always accomodated any dissapointements that a club might bring, but the fact that I cant find a single thing that I like about the place is serious bizniz, as I am never one to complain.
In terms of what we are pissed about, its not the money, its the principal of not letting the people who are charging a grand or more on their credit card, what exactly it is they are buying. This includes both OUR table and many others, because unfortunately it happened to anyone who called in to check on the res.
If I ask for a mezz table and a certain amount of bottles, and they say yes....just to find out upon confirmation the DAY before that if you wanna sit where you ordered it would be and extra $300...bitch, please. If it wasnt two of my friends b-days and our expactations were not set I would have told them to go themselves. Its a disgrace considering I spend a lot of money there and pay for VIP more often then a lot of their patrons. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: |

Gerard: fyi you cant "NOT" tip, as a matter of fact they have you tip and pay at the beginning of the evening. Which is some what reasonable in the sense that they dont want people taking off with out paying, however, it also makes little sense for us to tip "good service" when we havent even received any yet.
Whatever happened to tipping being a symbol of good service? the sad thing is, is that most people with enough money to sit up there would tip even higher than the asking price if the service is consistent of VIP treatment. (myslef included). :rolleyes: I would have no problem throwing in an extra $20 or two for good service, and neither would the people at the tables I have sat at before. |
