"Love is" bubble gum was never a fad here in Canada. The first time I went back to Russia as a kid, I brought back so many of them 'cause I thought they were sooooo cool, but somehow the kids here didn't think so. I'm pretty sure that it was 'cause Pogs and Ringpops, Tamagotchies and Pokemon were all so much complex than little comics that come with gum, and the fact that Dubble Bubble was already around. |
