Do you drink and drive?

Maybe not hammered, but where do you draw the line when drinking and driving. If you're one of those that has 1 sip of wine and then says you can't drive, don't bother, but for the rest of us...what is too much?
for me 8 beers is tops, if i give myself time to sober up, but if i'm drinking then driving right after it's pretty much 3 tops, i could do more, but i dont want to push it since i'm technically supposed to have 0.0% alcohol. |

Not usually, but last night I did.
Done it a few times; ing hate myself the next morning. :sadgreen:
edit: didn't read your question. Yesterday...perhaps from 12pm to 12am: perhaps 15 beers and 5 jagerbombs? |

Meh.
I feel exactly the same way, buuut:
1. Was only driving for ten minutes, in very familiar streets.
2. Wasn't too pissed - sober enough to be nervous about drink driving (irony anyone?).
3. It was 12am, so there were all cars on the road out in suburbia.
4. I'm an extremely conscientious and competent driver. |

for me it's like
1. I'm only driving the highway for 40 minutes
2. I had 7 beers all night, from 9:45-2AM
3. It's 5 AM now
4. I'm a good enough driver |

That's probably not even drink driving?
Your liver apparently clears 1 standard drink an hour (no quoting though), and 10-5 = 7hrs, which would roughly make you .00
I would have no worries doing that at all, and neither should you!
Yesterday I was probably .06, .01 over our legal limit - hence the guilt.
Does anyone ever drug drive?
I'd never drive on speed or weed. Used to drive a lot on e when I was younger though - I didn't find it to affect my concentration or reactionary skills at all; if anything it sharpened them slightly.
Not talking about being mega-ed though obviously - more of a "night after" thing on the way home when you're through the best/worst of the pill. |
