Piet's set last night was kicked some major booty! Quite hard and very little fluff - just the way I like it :D He should be spinning a very similar set tonight too so I can't wait to shake my booty again! I just didn't get much sleep last night so the drive down to SD might be a bit painful :nervous:

dance for me riia. i'm literally dying at my desk as we speak. never been so tired, ever it feels like. and i still have a very long rest of the day ahead of me. ugh, the need for sleep is so overwhelming |

Taking the 101 to the 405 to the 5 is the quickest way down to SD! Only hit traffic near LAX. Other then that I flew down there made it a little after 10! Parking though. Different story! Took a good half hour to find a lot.
I loved Markus set!!! With tunes such as Daydream, Perfect, Fallen, Cause you know mixed in. I was a happy dancer!
But Rank 1 was ehh.... pretty much the same set from Thursday but the tunes where in different order and different remixes.

Absolutely insane night last night... I've never been so drenched... even at MM or some other massive.
Started at our buddy's bar... (Red C)... got a little crunk on for a bit... than strolled over to On broadway... Listened to our birthday buddy Scott Roberts smash some absolute party rockers... loved how he dropped Fonzerelli's Moonlight Party and we all started singing along. Then David came on and lit up the night... Baby When The Lights (Dirty South Edit) and some remix of The World Is Mine while basically having eight girls grind into me in a hot way was just friggin awesome and a good laugh for the night. Hot ups to the Brazilian boys that made their first trip to the states and were loving it. They were awesome people.
After security came... so did all the lame bros that just wanted to grind... GO TO THE DAMN HIP HOP ROOM IDIOTS! Sorry... that kinda ruined the vibe for my buddy so we jetted over to Belo at that point. Met up with some other friends celebrating birthdays during Markus' set which I heard from the bar. Met a fellow TTer for the first time... who I hoped enjoyed San Diego as much as LA. Wound up rocking out to Markus for a bit and was floored when he played Big Sky (who I had to explain to one person it isn't Armin's own track... and I loved the two short Asian guys that came up to me while I was singing along and they were all "IT'S A BIG SKY!" and I'm all "Damn RIGHT... It's a big F$(&ing SKY!" ... and followed it up with Daydream... he just about killed me with that one two punch. Piet came on and rocked it proper for a bit.
Speaking of craziness for the night... if anyone hasn't heard... I'm working on getting Markus on my radio show!! The man is absolutely awesome!! |
