Markus killed it!!!!! He showed up around 11:00 and just kicked it at the bar, being that SD in notorious for its scensters. Hardly no one came up to him to say whats up. (cause no one recognized him) I took a pick with him, then my cell phone rang and he got a trip out of my eddie halliwell wallpaper. He was like Eddie, Eddie? c'mon man..... Then just busted out laughing, he was like, "Eddie kills it, he is a great dj and always bring non-stop energy", Markus' set was amazing, he absolutely killed it, monster track after monster track. Piet set was just plain HARD!!!:whip: :whip: He brought the HARD beats, I really enjoyed it as well. Overall it was an excellent night.

My gf, roommate, and I took some pics with Markus (I thought he'd be swamped, but he wasn't) and then found some spots front and center. He played all the tracks we love, all the hard beats, and rocked it all night! Here a couple vids I took:
Does anyone know what happened with that fight at the bar during Rank 1's set? It looked like a security guard hurt his leg/foot and was being helped out.

oh wow. you were right next to me man. i was with the group of asian kids in the front left recording the whole time. we took a couple pictures with markus after his set.

I have to say the Thursday show was much better than Friday. The place was almost half empty again and the energy just wasn't the same. It was obvious Piet felt it too and he made a joke at some point that he was trying to clear the floor so he could stop playing :p Or maybe he just wanted a cigarette really bad :toothless I still enjoyed most of the songs Piet played (the Funky Town remix and Ronald van Gelderen's Freak Dirty Rocker kick ass!) and danced as much as I could. I was glad to see the few dedicated fans dancing in front of the stage until the very end which came at 3am :whip:
Despite all the turn offs at Belo, I'm glad I drove down for the show. Piet's never ending jokes and antics always make it worth it for me :tongue2
