yikes!.. dont know if this was posted but;
Paul Oakenfold Event Draws 52 Attendees!

Paul Oakenfold, revered by many as a Trance Pioneer, was recently left red faced when only 52 people bought tickets. The event was being hosted by the 'Newcastle University Students' Union' and they needed to sell 900 tickets in order to break even.
However, since the gig was scheduled on the same night as the Freshers' Week finale, most people opted to attend Tim Westwood at Glow.
The bad turn out was attributed to confusion and a lack of communication. Timing also clearly played a role. |

Geez, when it's that small a crowd I'd rather have a Q and A with Oakenfold, have him show me stuff in the booth instead. 'Not a trancehead but it would be interesting to hear some stories, see him do some stuff behind the decks, etc.

lol, me too. I can't believe she does PR for BeB, should have been handled much better than that, regardless of how troll-ish the comments can get.
TA is a small community but that thread can be seen by many.. all you have to do is google it and it's on the first page.. lots of lurkers for sure. I agree with Blended, you can bitch but if you balance it out then it doesn't come across as trolling. But your comment was innocuous compared to some of the other stuff being spewed (Zraw? lol)
