Cool website but, besides that this is what i wanted to share. As quoted from his latest entry in his diary...
"One thing ill be looking at doing soon is getting my set from Stereo in Montreal up for you you to download. Although i need to get my hands on the thing myslef before i can let you guys have it!"
also from his previous entry he says his set from both footwork and Stereo LITERALLY blew him away!!

Excited for that set, im pretty sure i know who has it and will make sure they send it over or something! lol
Also, for discussion maybe... and since i wasnt sure of how to create a poll:
For those who have seen both Danny Howells and Danny Tenaglia marathon sets...who did you prefer and why...?
Myself, i dont compare Dj's but these 2 are definately in the same league of their own if that makes sense :P |

i love danny howells so much mon dieuuuuu.....bring him back asap!
aside from that, yes, that set from stereo in may would be killer to have...
in response to u alex :): never seen danny t at stereo only at sundance and ya, personally wasn't impressed. the whole stopping the music and talking with a big flashlight slightly makes me uncomfortable at an EDM event. i'm there for a constant musical mix, tight mixing is what i want!!! ya so me no likey his entertainment portion of his marathon sets i guess...
this time around i didnt go see him cuz a) im lazy, b) school hates me and c) i like sleeping more these days lol! who woulda thought????? :p
butttttt i've seen danny howells ummmm let's seeee....aria labour day weekend 2005, aria NYE 2006, aria when creator opened for him, may 07 at stereo and whenever he played just recently at stereo again...might be forgetting one time but whatever,
the dude is TOTALLY in a league of his own, and if i had to pick, i'd defo say DANNY HOWELLS ownssss tenaglia buttttt gotta see danny t live at stereo first ;) |

I agree while i was there he didnt stop the music but he did do the flashlight thing which is fine but, DONT SING OVER A SONG think it was the one that goes "time and time again" u all know it (time _____something)
anyways Erica I conncur for a wide genra of musics mastered and tight mixing DANNY HOWELLS it is, for nice percussion consistant but suttle tribal sounds with a wide variety of other things Danny Tenaglia it is There's a video on utube, the one with Danny Kravvit at pacha or something, that track he played at Stereo (HOLY ) sounds amazing, and that is the consistant drum sound im talking about here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COd_bNvGW_c
while ur there take a look at Carl Cox at WMC 2007 that evil sounding track, HOLY now thats what im talking about lol love that stuff to

Although each danny is their own person, with their own style and flavour, the question was asked…. Which danny do you prefer?
Well. I have only seen Danny T once so far- and that was at LoL this year. I was impressed, yes, but it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting from all the Danny T hype that I had received. I’m sure I’d have to see him again some day…..
Then Danny Howells came by two weeks later. His Footwork set was hands down the best set I’ve heard him play, and probably one of the top sets of the year for me. (Definitely in that club, that’s for sure). Then to have him play on a boat for us the next day while cruising lake Ontario….
My vote is for Danny Howells. I have not missed that guy once when he’s come to Toronto the past 4 years. He tells a story when he plays, beginning to end with a whole lot of meat in the middle. His track selections vary all over but he makes it work together. He can go from funky house and then bang out the techno the next minute, and it just works. He enjoys himself while performing, he enjoys his fans…..
And he was playing VINYL at footwork which made me very happy to see.

| Nice Knox, thanks for the response. He apparently loved his set at Footwork. I cant wait for u or anyone else for that matter to see him play at Stereo, good NY Resolution lol :) |
