Greetings from the West Coast! I searched for "Trance Energy" on the TA forum today, and there's so much good information about this event! Here are some other Trance Energy TA links that you might want to check out - each has some different information about the event, DJ lineup, tickets, etc.
West Coast

I'm planning to buy my tickets tomorrow once they go on sale and then if all goes well I'll get the time off from work and buy my plane ticket (a little risky, yes, but I know that Sensation White sold out within hours and I can't take such a chance with Trance Energy!)
I'll be staying with my Dutch friends up in Noord West Holland, but the TA meetup sounds like a great idea! I organized a TA meetup the day before Berlin LoveParade in 2006, and that was a lot of fun, so I definitely appreciate our organizer's efforts in getting this together! :)

Hi there Trance Addicts,
I'm Jordy from Holland and I wanted to tell you, that I'm going to setup a TA gathering, like this year, in Amsterdam.
Marcin and Rob were one of them that joined it.

Most likely it will be Damsquare again like this year.
Monday December 3rd ID&T will announce the official line-up,
but the list below shows you the names of DJs that are almost
sure or for sure that they will be in the line-up:
Tiësto (for sure)
Armin van Buuren (almost sure)
Paul van Dyk (almost sure)
Sean Tyas (for sure)
Menno de Jong (for sure)
Phynn (for sure)
Alex M.O.R.P.H. (for sure)
Ernesto vs Bastian (for sure, Thrill their new track will be maybe the official anthem for TE 2008)
Marco V (almost sure)
Marcel Woods (for sure)
Jochen Miller (for sure)

HMH w/ Tiesto was an awesome party. that place is truly amazing!.
TE2008 is going to be another historic party to remember. I'm sure more people will show up for TA Gathering before TE |

yes they booked Sean Tyas.
so no Gielen? is it true or just rumours?
to be honest: I didn't like his set this year and his mixing skills were not that good, I heard him play better at earlier editions of Trance Energy. the best Gielen I heard: 2003 & 2004. |

so what would be the most cost-effective and/or fastest way to get there? To fly directly into Amsterdam? Or to fly into London then take a train/flight?
any input on latest fare quotes/specials around that time? which sites would you recommend in searching for these? i currently use Kayak.com, travelocity, expedia...was wondering if there were any others out there
