sExY pErSiAn, i am surpriced, i've seen you post before but i tought for sure you were a guy, my bad. any ways i like the hard banging techno stuff my self i wish i had the time and money to spin some of that stuff as well.
by the way are there any clubs in LA that cater to the kind of techno stuff you like? i haven't heard of any. |

Haha, ya alot of people think I am a guy cuz there aren't too many chics into this type of music.
Unfortunately, we don't get a lot of techno here. We're lucky if we do. It's all about cheesy trance out here :(. But Adam Beyer was @ Avalon in Dec.... Hawtin was @ Spundae in Nov.... Picotto was @ Red in Nov also. I was at all those events. They blew me the away!  :eyes:
I can't wait for the next techno dj to come out here!!!!!!!! :whip: :whip: :whip:
:D |

julia, do you spin your self?
you're totally right about the cheesy trance. the LA scene is lively but very shallow. there are some many dj out there playing BS trance and to top it off i heard many that can't spin for sh!t. come to think of it a lot of new trance records coming out are crap too. i spin trance my self but i've been doing this for nearly 11 years now and i have developed a taste for good trance/progressive/techno.
its funny, ever so often i hit the record shops and actually find a few records that are good but not before going through stacks and stacks of crap and most of the time i record shop i either come home empty handed or i find one or two tracks worth the vinyl the're printed on, oh well gotta start producing my own stuff i guess. |
