Got a chance to listen to it the other day. I thought it was ok, nothing special but nothing wrong either. Mixing and track selection was ok but nothing really special about it that kept me very interested.
The tracks seemed to be the normal run of the mill beatport minimal and tech-house. There is nothing wrong with that by any means just didn’t seem to stand out for all the other mixes I have heard this month.
I would look into changing things up a bit with the mixing, take some more chances and such. Possibly look into mixing ealier or working edits to keep things moving. With that type of music you really need to jam in and out of tracks since most of them dont have much to hand on to. Also I would look into digging a little deeper on the track selection side.
This is just my opinion and honestly there is nothing wrong with it. I would much rather give you a some honest feedback on what to look into then blow smoke.
I still need to make it out to sound-bar to check one of your nights. Hopefully I will be able to do so soon! |

Not a problem. I am actually in Chicago indefinitely now other then for Christmas. All the gigs I a booked in Detroit before I knew I was moving are all taken care of so no more driving back and forth for me. |

| finally got the chance to listen to this the other day. quality mix sylvia. the track selection isn't my style at all, but the mixing is solid. though i get a completely different vibe from you when you play out live- i like "live sylvia" more than this demo (not at all meant in offense). :D |

thank you nate. no offense taken : ) i take that as a huge compliment, actually.
i have the biggest problem making demos. it's easier for me to play live in response to a place and crowd, and not have the time to make in depth track decisions and transition tweaks. i feel more comfortable when i wing it. thank you for noticing : )

Yeah it isn’t too bad so far. This morning was kind of chilly however I have been scoring good parking spots lately so my morning walk hasn’t been too bad. I will probably be singing a different song though once the lake gets colder and its starts really snowing. |
