aye. Now i've got gary birtles & some guy commentating live on Colombia vs Argentina in a SA world cup qualifier. We seem for some reason to be getting lots of games from there this week, although with a light schedule from other nations
and LOL, i dunno what's happening but Carlos Tevez has just been sent off in the 25th minute for well.... replay coming....... lol he's basically just tripped a guy as he's running across the defence. Funnily enough the assistant gave it, and Tevez hasn't argued, but it was pretty ridiculous. I blame Chach ;) |

When are England just going to realise they aren't as good as they think they are (well the press anyway)? I mean to say the players never even tried what a crock of .
Ok first goal... was a mistake but you got back into it with the pen. Even after Israel doing you the massive favour you manage to bugger it up. |

I loved it. We deserved nothing, we got nothing. The FA set that to our fate when they appointed a yes man in Mclaren who has no tactical knowledge, no personality and no guts. I said when we didn't give the job to Allardyce that we were ed & it's proven. Mclaren's secret weapon was often Downing. He played Lampard when he was , even today he left out people who could win a game, in Bentley, Ashley Young & left Onohua & Agbonlahor & Walcott in the under 21s, players in form who could do something. We were shown up to be exactly what we were, inept.
It's for the best. Now he has to go, and if missing out in a tournament is the price to pay, then so beit, change must come. The problem is that our FA is a bunch of rich men in suits who cause & backstab and talk behind backs etc. Mclaren was their perfect choice to allow them to carry on being s. |

Hated to hear the England fans booing their players at half time. Your asking them to keep their heads up keep pushing and yet you'll boo them off and not stay with them.
All the players tried their best, even the manager tried his (...hmm how good is it...) best. But for the fans to just jump on them as soon as things go south when your asking so much of them. Pretty ty.
there being no home countries being at it too. :( |

This is actually a very good point. So who are going to be the other 2 top seeds? Being second seeds is better this time! Switzerland is still somewhat competitive, but Austria is a complete joke. |

rumours are abundant here of a home nations tournament next summer. I'd love it to happen, some good old international footy with our old friends :p oh and wales too!
I think the booing was as much for the manager. most people disliked him & it was to show displeasure. I think that he was the wrong appointment, it was too cosy a thing for the fa to do & now we as a nation will miss out, but it, if it brings in a bigger man, then we'll take it. |

Yeah maybe but who'll want it with the pressure? A lot of money but... still. O'Neil or big Sam but weren't they 2nd best to Mclaren? (*What I mean is to choose them would implicate the FA for choosing the wrong man.... making no Euro 2008 their fault) It's going to be interesting what names emerge.
Tell you who I had respect for in that game, the keeper. Dunno about you but if I'd made that mistake on my debut in front of that crowd. No way would I be able to walk back out onto that pitch never mind play another half of a game.
