No need to explain, we all here on TA come from different backgrounds and nationalities: what one might find offensive the other might not. This is coming from a person that is not easily offended but when you hit that bar involving religion: we are taking it up a notch. I dont appreciate someone posting a picture labeled "Jesus ing Christ" then having two men practicing homosexuality. Worshiping false idols or not i find it offensive.
Now Im not going sit here and discuss what has religion done in the past and will do in the future. All im asking you is to have some respect with other peoples beliefs even if you don't associate your self with religion. |

You really think that a significant # of people choose to abide by laws because they fear punishment by their religion and not by a law enforcement agency?
You also think that an appreciable % of people who commit murder kill in the name of 'God'.
So, adding together the numbers of people who have fought the urge to murder to avoid damnation and the number of people who have killed / died because of the voice of a higher power, and then subtracting the number of lives that have been lost over the centuries due to religious struggles, you think we'd come out even?
