this was also in the TOTA thread, this guy is easily the hottest producer at the moment with productions like:

System 7 - Space Bird (Dubfire Mix) [Kush, i finally heard this....holy ! :eyes:]
Plastikman - Spastik (Dubfire Rework)
Christian Smith & John Selway - Transit Time (Dubfire Remix)
Dubfire - Emissions

and his early productions like:

Dubfire - Roadkill
Dubfire - Ribcage

even trance DJs are raping his ....

I think it's all crap, faux mnml to the max.

For some reason people eat it up though, the reason for that is beyond me though
Spin Laden
one decent remix that works for introducing ppl into edm is "I found you - Axwell (Dubfire remix)." It gets new ppl foots tappin'.

Guranteed someone will drop it at Resolution :p
Ravemontreal
I totally eat it up.

Last essential mix is great, listen to it often.

Layed Emissions on top of 2 other tracks this week-end and it's a great filler with good impact. Most people wouldn't have even recognize it.

Ribcage was played to the max but still was awesome when it came out. Problem is all those who feel the "need" to play Ribcage and drop it between 2 tribal tracks. :-(

Love the I found you rmx, the Spastik rmx, the nizter Ebb rmx, love love love.

It's all about how you play it. But They sound GREAT on a big system, powerful tracks. The one I enjoyed a little less was roadkill.
Alex
I don't get that Mr. Creator.

You are FAR from the first person to say that Dubfire's tunes make good DJ tools, but I don't think that explains why his ch00ns keep selling like hot cakes, after all, it isn't only DJs who buy music!
Ravemontreal
Well... I don't have that answer.

It's not that all his productions are all smoking (except System 7 - Space Bird (Dubfire Mix ;) ) it's just that he's very consistent, making good overall tracks
