Yeah in Psy obviously, but it's got a "solid" bass then, it hits you. Don't dissect my words. It's not the booming bass your used to in psy, but it's certainly in line with most techno tracks (I think the track is more techno or tech-trance than trance per say).

I really wouldn't say psy trance is a genre notable for its thick, solid basslines.

Sounds like they have a lot of bass to me...booming..quite bombastic. Or is that just the kick-drums that sound like that? I always get confused cause most of the bassier stuff I see it as either the "bassline" or "bass-drum".

Yeah essentially, I just call it the bassline though.

I was about to say that.

Battleship Grey and Close To You are still fantastic pieces.

there is nothing I like in that tune. I like tech-trance. The Oliver Lieb-type of tech-trance. Not that cheesy dutch DJ Tatana type of tech-trance. But Traffic is so anoying its ridiculous. The whole arrangement.

Out of context:

I would like to mention that the second part of DJ Tiesto - Forbidden Paradise 3 - The Quest for Atlantis is pretty awesome!

Dynamic Maniax - "Calling Middle Earth"
Azid Force - "Amanita Muscaria"
Encephaloid Disturbance - "Anaesthetic Influx"
West & Storm - "Porpoise"
Cortex Thrill - "Deep Infinity"
Karma De La Luna - "Impulse Are NRG" [Maurits NRG Trance Mix]
Juno - "A Force Beyond"
Berlin Inc. - "Berlin" [Peace Mix]
T-Scanner - "Trip To Heaven"

One of my fave albums ever... Suburban Train being one of my fave epic trance productions. Nearly every song on this album is gold, too bad his follow up albums don't come close to touching In My Memory :(

Still my #1 DJ though.

yeah traffic sucks

this though is still a really good album, best stuff I've ever heard from tiesto is all on this album besides that one awsome song from Parade of Athletes and the Gouryella tracks. Obsession, In My Memory, Flight 643, Suburban Train, classics.

How can you confuse the bassline with the kick/bassdrum? :conf:

I just don't get it.

Magik Journey does it for me every time. I still play this album, one of my favorite artist albums.
