As I said before, I HAD A BLAST yesterday. Dont remember having so much fun, while being souber (well, for the first part of the night).

I got stuck in NYC longer that I was planning on, so I missed Eco's set by several minutes

I have never seen either of the 3 headliners before, so I was really glad to go to this party ($40 are NOTHING when you see 3 djs like this).

Martin REALLY surprised me. I was not expecting to see him do so well. His energy was amazing- always smiling and jumping around :) Very nice and flowless set, too.

Eddie, same thing. He made a ridiculous atmosphere. Mixing, scratching and coing CRAZY. However, it was obvious that he was hurting a lot.

JOC had a little bit less energy than I expected. However, he is one of my fav producers and the music he played was amazing.

Unfortenately, as soon as I started drinking I got really tired and had to leave around 4:30ish. Didnt get to see the real surprise of the night- GMoney and I am pissed about not staying till the end!

This was also my first time at Avalon. The crowd was the best I have seen in the last several years. There were lots of people, but it was not overcrowded at all- Lots of space for dancing. I LOVED seeing sooooooooo many TAs around. As I said, this was my first party after the summer and it really made up from all the paties I missed.

Conclusion: WE NEED MORE STUFF LIKE THIS! Congrats for the organizers!

all i have to say is WOW..i loved Martin's set the most but John's was right there and me taking the decks after John..wow i was in shock..thanks to Tommy for letting me spin after JOC..it was just amazing and to see every1 clapping and going wild to the songs i was playing was amazing..i got such a rush..hopefully ill get some more spots soon!..you guys know what im capable of!

G Money - Nice meetig yoooou awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
AyStar... OMG ..

I think I love you

-tear-

He gave me a poster of Lee Burridge BALANCE issue N. 12 rawr! It was a happy thanksgiving after that :) Thanks times 100 for stealing it off the wall buahahaha..

Eco is a sweety and thanks for letting us steal Martin last night.. Hoping to chill with him tonight if all goes well.

Anyways I had a blast. I was extremely sleepy cuz of work so I left about 2:15 ish. [Had to hit up the Macy's parade since I am a noob to the city and ended up getting there an hour late]

Kinda mad that I missed the Sasha - Coma because I waited in line with a bunch of immature losers. Some lil boy dropped a bottle of liquor on the line and the glass shattered everywhere. He has the nerve to tell the bouncer that he just picked it up off the floor.

Yeah suuure buddy. I fuking cracked up. What a horrible lie and the bouncer put him out there!! :haha:

My only problem is Martins first hour was too low and Eddies Techy madness was way high! Other than that A++:tongue3

Oh super Boo for finding out late last night that I have to come into work tomorrow. grr.

I expected to leave at 1am at the latest. I stayed until I was literally the last person walking out (except for the workers). What a ing GREAT time! Whoever is saying it was empty needs their heads checked. Sure, it wasn't like exit 2001 in there, but that's a good thing. Enough room to move, but didn't feel empty at ALL. Seriously one of the most entertaining nights of all time. Eddie defintely has some FAST ing hands. It's ridiculous to watch that man throw down. Really glad I caught Eco's set too, as he really did a great job opening. I liked Martin's new style for sure, but wish he woulda just mixed into Eco's last track instead of letting it die. JOC did a great job closing after Eddie, which is definitely not an easy task. And Gmoney, thanks for letting me play with the filter that one time, lol.

Good times :) Got there early and hung out with Gerard and co. on line for an hour and a half before they let us in. Once I got in everything was fantastic! I missed hanging out with all you guys, I'm not allowed to skip weekends anymore.
See if you guys can help me out with this... I met a guy on the line, he was standing behind me and Dan. We were chatting about different parties we had been to, Sean Tyas, etc. When we went in we spoke for a hot second and discovered that we were both on TA. And then my drunk ass didn't see him again for the rest of the evening.

Who are you?

Def. a pretty cool night, got there around 12am(was quite surpised to see the lazer show :gsmile: ). Eddies set was pretty tight but to tell you the truth after seeing alotta his vids on youtube and , I expected a much crazier presentation, it was too bad the sytem cut out twice (which looked liked it killed some of his momentum) but the last few songs were great- "Universal Nation" was def the highlight! Left about 4am to see some of JOC's set, pretty good and was about what I expected ("Big Sky" was def somethin I was lookin forward lol was glad he dropped that early)

I'm gonna upload my pictures now. I got 82 pics and 9 videos. Unfortunately for you guys, I'm not gonna post my vids because they're much too large to post anywhere and would just take way too long. Sorry! Pics will be posted when I'm done.

I remember standing there and being like "is that Universal Nation?!?!?!" Then the breakdown came in and the place went OFF!!!! Unbelievable. I think his back was messed up, which is why he wasn't jumping around and .

simmer down Lothar :p

sorry I missed this one. We had to be up early as hell today, and knew if we made it into the city we would have ended up closing it out. Eddie really is the man though. I caught him a couple years ago at Avalon...hell of a dj.

got in there pretty early like 10:30/11 was dead i was sayin to myself oh boy its gonna be another one of those nights where its great talent and no support
eco was on the decks good bro you had me groove and let me set you free ha ha your a sick kid and your last 30 min really had my moving
martin came on and was very minimal.techy, prog it was ok i was kinda feeling it but then out of no where he dropped beautiful things (photon project remix) i heard it commin in and iam like wtf lol
either way i went nuts lol after that he was banging out some older stuff
eddie came on and handed everyone in the club their ass
mother ****** owned workin the out of everything only downside was he played a lil too much trance i wish he would have banged out more technoish stuff but either way it was still a great set
UNIVERSAL NATION!!!!
joc came on and he was ok but at that point i was gettin kinda tired and not really into his set i bounced at 4:30
over all the crowd was alot better quality wise i would say atleast 75% of the people knew who the djs were and there were not too many cracked out asians which is also a plus
wish it was a lil more packed to show these djs that nyc reps it but that was not the case :(
