some pics from the room. my camera doesnt do it justice, the dark brown on the cliffs is actually a deep red.
there's a smell in the air too, almost like it's perfumed.

Set your shutter speed to 1/1250... I found that really picks up the red, especially in late afternoon.
Also, there is a hiking trail around Courthouse and Bell Rock, it's about an hour hike and offers some spectacular photo vantage points. Hopefully I'll be able to post some of my pics next week (haven't had time to upload them yet).
If you have time today, check out Tlaquepaque... cool there.
BTW... based on the view you have from your room it looks like I was staying just up the street from where you are... you're on or just off Bell Rock Blvd. aren't you? |
