I try my hardest not to even step foot in the parking lot of one simply out of principle. I'll give credit to the Wal-Mart in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. I had to visit it on my trip up there in June to see some relatives and it was the single best Wal-Mart I'd ever been in. It was actually clean and the employees were all very respectable both in looks and conduct.
I still refused to purchase anything. I'll give it points for cleanliness but I'm damn sure it has all of the shady policies as the rest of them. |

i've been to target 3 times in my life (LA, Atlanta and just outside of Manhattan)
I've been to walmart 4 times (once in philly, and 3 times in the tampa area)
I tend to remember every time I go since I rarely hit these chains :wtf: |

| Walmart is good 'cause it helps Chinese slave workers a chance to make their extremely low wages. It's also good too since many companies based in the US get to branch out to China, again to help employ the low income slave labourers. Why give the jobs to Americans when someone else can do it for 1/10th the wage. Which brings up another point. Unions are extremely powerful and demand high wages for their members. They pump into their "brothers" how they must back the union and promote their cause and ensure they work with other unions as one big happy family. "Union made in America"! Unfortunately those same union workers flock to places like Walmart where they can enjoy the low prices of the low-income, non-union Chinese workers provide! Pretty two-faced I think. |

| I have to drive by the SUPER WAL-MART they built here recently and there is never a day or time that I go pass it that the parking lot is not full. 7:00am, full...10:00pm, full. People love their wal-mart. |

There are 2 Super Wal Marts all 10 mins within my house in Miami.
That is one thing I miss very much. THere is no way in hell Wal Mart will be in New York because of all the mom & pop shops here.
I guess being raised in a place where there are nothing but corporations around .. you tend to miss them. Miami has nooo mom & pop shops. The closest Wal Mart to me in New York is 45 mins away. -tear-
Super WalMarts are fuking awesome. The only place where you can buy last min gifts and balloons and fresh flowers at 5 am coming home from a club and right on time for Mothers Day. |
