can u loop your tune in FL (without actually mapping it manually) through an effect or some feature on FL?
i accidently right clicked (i think) on the sequencer (it places a marker which it loops just that section, instead of playing on) and it sounded great.
i want to make an extended loop/(?)crescendo for purposes of building up/ intensifying just before a breakdown. so it is emphesized more. in typical classic trance style.
any ideas if u even understand what im after appreicated!
scot project is the king of it.. |

If the loop markers are in place, when you export it only exports the marked 'loop'.
Try exporting parts of the build and re-adding them as audio to mess things up a bit |

yah there are vsts can do this;. any vst with loop playback should be fine.. but chances are you will need to export it first..
there are a handful of sampler vst's
http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/win95/SOFTWARE_SAMPLERS/
exporting is like 'rendering'
to do it you can use hot keys or go to the file menu and select EXPORT- then the type WAV is the "highest quality" but huge files
at one point FL didn't have MP3 playback capacity.. likewise the software samplers you are interested in using may only accept wav files... not MP3.
Likewise there may be a file size limitation.. so you may need to cut your track up into a bunch of different parts or section it for multitracking etc...
it depends on your computer and the VST you use. |
cheers mate will look into it.
iam looking to loop all elements of the track at that time. just as u could do with a cd deck.. 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8.
also is there something i could use to punch the sound in and out.. not just one element, i can sidechain one element. but i want everything to punch in and out rapid. just like transforming on a crossfader/mixer. ??? |

i must not be understanding the question because to me what you are asking is blindingly obvious. If you want to loop all elements of the track, then in your sequencer, can't you just copy and paste whatever section you wish to loop? |

u cant copy and paste a 1/4 or an 8th of the blocks on the sequencer though can you?
plus the appregiator on the synth will run on instead of looping back. |

Why can't you? In ableton you can and I assumed any other sequencer you can. And the arp should re-start with each new note. |

im using FL7 can u cut the step sequencer blocks into 2 and into 4? so it only loops a half or a quarter?
any ideas how? i will have a muck around with it when im back home.
i have made a bassline in piano roll. it spans 2 blocks in the step sequencer (8 beats) i want to say loop it from the half way mark onwards, then again from the 3/4 mark.
i think i need to do it manually and make up the latter half of the bassline in piano roll and then another piano roll with the last one quarter of the bassline and string them together.. is that right? |

You need to add as clips and not pattern blocks.
You can resize the clips doing it this way |

Cutting clips work. You can also get dBlue glitch free and get tape-loop effects. |
