| made it to 1015 almost straight off the plane from vegas, sorry to have missed morillo the night before, but after doing a bunch of techno and house the last couple weeks, was fun and refreshing to do a whole night at 1015, and nice chatting to steve down on the sidelines. also i think it was the first time i brought out my big camera to 1015 and that's just too much work... much props to rizo for his patience with that week after week. i need to be jumping around and just can't do it with ten pounds around the neck. |

where was everyone saturday evening? went to the city early only to have people being busy already. phones turned off. anu dead. playbar closed. so i went to 1015 before it even opened and hanged out.
supperclub was awesome once taj & dj rap got on! didnt care for the people dining on couches with their shoes off. good thing i went to the restroom as soon as that transvestite got on the table to strip -- i can handle 2girls1cup like nothing but not that. the female acrobatic on the other hand was :eyes:
missed blurrs set but thrillseekers had the crowd going. my mind was mostly else where through out his set and didnt really pay too much attention to his mixing. no tracks stood out to me but none bore me either :)
taj's closing set got me in a trance though! :D i should of just stayed now that i think about it rather than pass out in stanely's car outside lyndsays house.
adriana, sorry about not having the dinner but i had so much going on last week to get anything together and knew i was going to be tired coming back from new york on saturday morning. going to miss you and your annoyances when youre drunk :tongue3

heh, all of a sudden i'm being known as the tshirt guy.. i just volunteered to help blurr with prepping the files in illustrator and then getting us a good deal from a vendor i use a lot in my work. blurr has some good ideas for using these to get the crowd and visiting djs excited (and it's been working), and on this night he was actually the one collecting the money to help cover costs.
and btw rich.. i know you're always around, but i still don't think i've actually said hello to you in person. |

Uhm... I thought that was for the Thrillseekers Shirt? Rich Ill whip one up for you tho or will try to this weekend. They will resemble to VONYC shirt I did for Paul Van Dyk.

Im not doing Joof Shirts this weekend. I gave out I think a total of 10 shirts over the 0 I was suppost to not give out. These silkscreend T's cost me! I dont mind though, as long as everyone has fun and is able to say they had something from the night to remember it by. I still have some available, so those of you who didnt get one, let me know.
2Tall did help me out on Saturday getting monies from the crowd on shirts, Can you load up the example of the NYE Tshirt I like 2Tall? The one with all the names on it? Ima get a Thread going for it, that way we can get orders in advance for them.
Overall, The shirts are helping market my nights better, expecially from those of you who I've met in other cities.
For NYE, Ima get a stand goin and some hot lookin chick to give out the shirts, those of you who have em ordered in advanced helped me out alot rather than the on the spot peoples. Either way, giving out gifts and tangable things to the crowd and 1015 audience is what I have been aiming to do. When I travelled before to events overseas, going home with something to remember the night was always awsome.
I also like brining props to play around with like my helmet a friend of mine gave me. Looks like all of you had fun with it.
Its excellent seeing RAP in those pics and wish I could have attended. Shes still lookin fine as ever and definitely a female of her caliber behind the decks is super hott. Too bad she didnt stop into 1015, I thought she would have at the latter of the night. Maybe next time.
Ending 2007 on a good note and partying side by side with Thrillseekers was certainly awsome. Once again, Djin in front of you all is something Ive really longed for.
Its awsome having friends like you all out there who really do care about our scene, the club, and watch out for each other. We gotta get everyone in the pic next time, or at least try. Buncha people missing in the pic...
HAha I still laugh when I think about Blowfish and some guy coming up to me and asking if we were tranceaddicts. How he put it was like we were some kind of of outlaw group.. Or that group in high school that you never wanted to with.
In 2008, I can only say ima push myself harder. Get into production more and hopefully make it on ASOT or TATW. Yes, that elf thing was freakin awesome and Steve was laughin when he saw it up on the screen. Someone should put it on his myspace as a comment, I think he'll get a kick outta it.

These were just some concepts I mocked up a while ago out of boredom.
The NYE idea is #5. It would list all the DJs that performed at 1015 in 2007.

Ya the design with all the Djs who have played in 2007 at the club is super awsome.
Ill setup my paypal to get orders going for the NYE T-Shirt. I only wanna order the requested this time around. Getting them at bulk is gonna drain my bonus... hehe.

BTW, one recognizable track Thrillseekers played were Signalrunners newest, Electric Sheep (Nitrous Oxide Remix). I actually was gonna play it but thought maybe he would, so I left it out of my playlist.
I did play Oceanlab - Beautiful Together (Nitrous Oxide 2007 Remix), and Thomas Datts - 2V2 (Sean Tyas Unabridged Remix)
I didnt get to play the other Nitrous Oxide Track - Field of Illusions
Ill save this track for my next gig in 08.
