I don't think a rave is really good for the ice.
But who knows?? |

| that's exactly what I'm thinking, I don't see them allowing a party a day or 2 before a game, not a chance in hell! I don't think they'd want players and fans finding neat little treats everywhere! hahahaha |

| a week or two ago in boston there was a hockey and a basketball game the same day. It took them 1.5 hours to put the ice over the basketball court. Im sure they could fix the ice in time for a hockey game. Besides.. why do you think the playoff schedule is so messed up. some teams are playing two days in a row and some teams are having to wait two days to play. Its becuase of concerts and events already pre planned in the major arenas.they league and the teams are flexible and so i dont think there is any worry about swirl. |

A week ago, when the Senators were in Philly, N'sync was playing at the First Union Center which pushed back the second game of the series. We're talking about a major concert. I just can't see Swirl commanding as much respect as a regular concert. Especially given the rumours we've been reading about the name Swirl and possible cancellations. Can you imagine if the NHL schedule accomodated Swirl then there was a crackdown like last year? I mean, sure, anything can happen (even to other concerts)...who knows.
By the way, looking at the schedules, it looks like none of this would matter since Round 2 Game 6 in MTL would be May 13. And, since "Le Canadiens" finished 8th, there's no way they can have home ice advantage, even in Round 3. I figure Round 3 would begin May 17, and 19, the first MTL game would be May 21st. Thus avoiding the conflict. WOOHOO!!
Here's a snapshot of the TA's on Sunday May 19th, at the Molson Center: |

Due to the TAs heavy demand and to my tranceblood i may reconsider going to SWIRL. No cheers yet , i will let you know my last decision.

dont worry les canadiens wont affect swirl
there would be plenty of time to clean up, the venue has to make money also, look at concerts they are planned months in advance, i think the nhl has to accomodate the arena, hence the odd scheduling
